Harness Inspection:
- Fall Protection Equipment is required to be thoroughly examined on a regular basis and at a minimum of every 6 months.
- A report of thorough examination detailing information as required under the Safety, health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007
- A report detailing any equipment that is unfit for use and reasons

Description
Fall Protection Equipment is required to be thoroughly examined on a regular basis and at a minimum of every 6 months.
This time limit may be reduced if the FPE is worn in hazardous conditions, while handling chemicals or subject to excessive wear or if recommended by manufacturer.
A thorough examination will also be required after circumstances liable to have affected the integrity and safety of the FPE. This examination must be carried out by a competent person.
All Safety Training offer a thorough examination service for working at height safety harnesses and lanyards. All items undergo a detailed examination. Our harness and lanyard Inspection service is carried out on-site or when harness is delivered to us.
What needs to be Inspected:
Fall protection equipment including harnesses, lanyards, connectors, fall arrest devices and any device used as FPE
Who Is Responsible for Inspections:
To be inspected by Operator before and after each use
6 monthly thorough examinations by a competent person. More frequently if recommended as above)
Once the Inspection is completed:
